Now in its 43rd year, the local heats of the girls public speaking competition took place across the Ireland, hosted by our 15 clubs.
From each local heat, two winners were chosen to go on a represent their area at regional level.
Congratulations to all girls who took part, you have done yourselves, schools and communities proud speaking on a wide range of topics such as volunteering ans friendship, human rights, democracy, the environment and women’s empowerment.
