Our active Club focuses on the organisation’s core principles and the long-lasting impact our activities have on women and girls locally, nationally, and internationally. We created a short video to celebrate the Soroptimist Centenary in 2021. Link – https://youtu.be/CGi-PQqv-C4. We are very engaged in advocacy under the banner of ‘Standing up for Women’ and have supported the Mayo Rape Crisis Centre and residents of the Direct Provision Centre. Protecting the environment is also a key area of work, and we recently planted 101 trees in the grounds of the Museum of Country Life, Turlough Park.
Soroptimists transform the lives and status of women and girls through
education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.
