Today, Soroptimist International Republic of Ireland proudly joined the global movement to “Orange the World” and launched the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. Across the country, our incredible clubs came together to raise awareness, spark conversations, and take meaningful action to help end violence against women and girls.
From flag-raising ceremonies to window displays, educational talks, solidarity walks, and so much more, each activity embodied the values of Soroptimism and our commitment to creating safer, more equitable communities.
The vibrant orange theme shone bright as members donned their colours and brought their message to life through eye-catching posters, displays, and public engagement in towns and cities across the Republic.
Together, we’ve made an unmistakable stand: we will not tolerate gender-based violence.
