Clubs from across Ireland celebrated and demonstrated advocacy in action during the Orange the World campaign. With orange shoes being displayed in shops across Ireland, reminding passers by that we often don’t know what anyone is experiencing until we walk in their shoes, but also for those on the unimaginable journey, that there is always hope and help and there is someone to walk alongside you on this path.
From art exhibitions, to musical showcases, fundraisers and coffee mornings, as well as being out and about in the community raising awareness we have been very active in our mission to end violence against women.
We also held our National Association meeting on November 25th- the start of the days of activism and took the opportunity to showcase our universal support by wearing orange.
