Thanks to the generosity of the members across Ireland, we were able to make a donation of over 125 pairs of brand new pajamas for women and children who have left their homes and are being provided safety and service by Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support who are a part of the Safe Ireland Network (who are a key partner to SI Ireland)
We were delighted to respond to the call for help, and hope this is the start of an ongoing relationship. We know that with 1 in 5 women in Ireland directly impacted by DV in her lifetime, we are not helping others only, but our own family, friends, sisters, and community.
President Aisling visited Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support centre to deliver the pjs, and got to meet some of the amazing team on site.
